The TrolMaster Device Station Kit (4RS-2) is a universal four-outlet control module that expands the automation capabilities of the TrolMaster Tent-X environmental control system. Connecting directly to the Tent-X controller through RJ12 communication, the 4RS-2 combines four device-control outputs into one compact station, helping growers manage multiple pieces of environmental equipment from a centralized system.

The four outlets are preconfigured from left to right as 1 × DST temperature output, 1 × DSH humidity output, and 2 × DSP programmable outputs. This convenient configuration lets you automate temperature, humidity, and scheduled equipment without installing four separate device stations.

Four Control Outputs in One Module

The 4RS-2 combines four individual device functions into a single control station.

Its default outlet configuration includes:

  • 1 × DST — Temperature Device Station
  • 1 × DSH — Humidity Device Station
  • 2 × DSP — Program Device Stations

This gives Tent-X users a practical way to automate several environmental devices while reducing the number of separate modules and communication cables required.

Temperature Equipment Control

The dedicated DST output can control compatible temperature-control equipment.

Depending on the Tent-X configuration, this may include equipment such as:

  • Exhaust fans
  • Cooling devices
  • Heaters
  • Other compatible temperature-control equipment

The Tent-X controller determines when the connected device should operate based on the programmed temperature settings.

Humidity Equipment Control

The dedicated DSH output is designed for compatible humidity-control equipment.

It can be used to automate devices such as:

  • Humidifiers
  • Dehumidifiers
  • Exhaust or ventilation equipment
  • Other compatible humidity-control devices

This allows humidity equipment to operate automatically according to the environmental settings programmed into the Tent-X controller.

Two Programmable DSP Outputs

The 4RS-2 also provides two programmable DSP outputs for equipment that needs to run according to programmed schedules.

These outputs provide additional flexibility for controlling equipment such as:

Up to 15A per Outlet

Each of the four outputs is rated for a maximum load of 15A.

This provides enough capacity for many common grow-room and greenhouse devices. However, the 4RS-2 also has a maximum total input current of 15A, so the combined load of all connected equipment must stay within the unit's overall electrical rating.

Always confirm the voltage and current requirements of connected equipment before installation.

RJ12 Plug-and-Play Connection

The 4RS-2 connects directly to the Tent-X controller through an RJ12 communication cable.

Its integrated power cable and centralized four-outlet design help simplify installation while reducing wiring and the number of individual control stations required.

International Orders

Nearly all of our brands can be shipped internationally using FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL or other couriers. Most quotes can be obtained at checkout. Items shipped internationally from the USA may have VAT, duties, taxes, and/or local charges due at delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and not Canada Grow Supplies Inc.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, we recommend reaching out to us ASAP. We charge a 2.9% (credit card), 3.5% (PayPal), 4.0% (PayPal International), 4.1% (American Express), or 6.5% (Shop Pay Installments or Sezzle) order cancellation fee after the order was received. We can accommodate most requests, but due to the different time zones and schedules that our warehouses ship from, sometimes the cancellation request may not reach the warehouse in time before the product ships. Once the item has been arranged to ship or has shipped, the package will be treated like a 'return' and is subject to ship-back fees and restocking fees. If you purchased 'Route Package Protection', this can not be refunded after the order has shipped.
