The AutoPot FlexiPot 100 XL System Kit is a large-scale, fully automatic gravity-fed irrigation system designed for commercial growers, greenhouses and professional cultivation facilities. Combining AutoPot’s proven irrigation technology with 100 high-performance 5 gal (20 L) fabric FlexiPots, this system efficiently waters many plants automatically without relying on electricity, water pumps, or timers.

Each plant receives its own 1Pot XL Tray, AQUAvalve5, and FlexiPot, delivering water or compatible nutrient solution automatically based on the water level in each tray.

The system is available without a reservoir or with a large 750 L (approximately 198 gal) FlexiTank, giving growers the flexibility to integrate the system into an existing irrigation setup or install it as a complete gravity-fed solution.

100 Individually Controlled Growing Sites

The AutoPot FlexiPot 100 XL System Kit includes 100 individual XL growing modules, each equipped with its own AQUAvalve5.

Instead of watering each plant on a fixed timer schedule, each AQUAvalve5 automatically controls the water level in its tray. When the plant uses the available water, the valve lets the tray refill, then shuts off again.

This provides automatic irrigation with:

5 gal (20 L) Fabric FlexiPots

The system includes 100 x 5 gal (20 L) fabric FlexiPots designed to fit the AutoPot 1Pot XL tray.

Unlike rigid plastic containers, the porous fabric construction allows increased gas exchange around the growing medium and root zone.

As growing roots reach the porous walls of the FlexiPot, exposure to air naturally discourages the root tips from continuing outward. This process, commonly known as air pruning, encourages the development of additional secondary roots rather than allowing roots to continuously circle inside the container.

The result is a dense, fibrous root structure that supports efficient moisture and nutrient uptake.

The large 750 L reservoir provides the capacity required for a substantial 100-site gravity-fed irrigation installation.

For proper gravity pressure, the reservoir should be elevated approximately 6" (15 cm) above the highest AQUAvalve5 in the system.

High-Capacity Irrigation Network

Large AutoPot installations use a combination of main distribution pipe and smaller feeder tubing to efficiently distribute water across the system.

The FlexiPot 100 XL uses:

• Main irrigation pipe: 16 mm OD (approximately 5/8")
• Feeder pipe: 9 mm OD (approximately 3/8")

Cross connectors divide the main supply line into individual branches that feed each growing module.

PotSock Round Root Control

When using fabric FlexiPots with an AutoPot system, fit a PotSock Round to the base of each pot.

The PotSock helps prevent roots from leaving the fabric container and growing into the AQUAvalve area or irrigation tray. The system includes one PotSock Round for each of the 100 FlexiPots.

Keeping roots properly controlled helps maintain reliable operation and simplifies system maintenance throughout the crop cycle.

Flexible Commercial Layout

One advantage of the AutoPot XL platform is that individual trays are not permanently fixed together.

As plants grow, growers can reposition individual modules and increase spacing between plants without rebuilding the entire irrigation system.

The 100-site configuration requires approximately 21.3 ft x 19.7 ft (6.5 m x 6 m) of growing space, excluding the reservoir, depending on the final layout.

This flexibility makes the system especially useful for commercial cultivation environments where plant spacing may change throughout the growing cycle.

Reusable and Low-Maintenance

FlexiPots are designed for repeated use. After each crop, allow the pots to dry before brushing away loose growing media and fine roots. Then wash them and prepare them for another growing cycle.

Because the AutoPot system operates primarily through gravity and mechanical AQUAvalve5 control, it has fewer electrical components to maintain than many conventional automated irrigation systems.

Growers should regularly inspect and clean the reservoir, filters, tubing, trays and AQUAvalve5 units to maintain reliable water flow throughout a large installation.

Important Indoor Humidity Consideration

Fabric pots expose more growing-medium surface area to the surrounding air than rigid plastic containers. When operating 100 FlexiPots indoors, this can increase room humidity.

Proper ventilation, air movement, dehumidification and environmental monitoring are therefore particularly important in large indoor installations.
