TrolMaster CO₂ Sensor for Carbon-X (MBS-K30)
The TrolMaster CO₂ Sensor for Carbon-X (MBS-K30) is a professional high-range CO₂ sensor designed specifically for the TrolMaster Carbon-X CO₂ Alarm System. Using NDIR sensing technology, the MBS-K30 continuously monitors CO₂ concentrations from 0 to 30,000 ppm, making it suitable for grow rooms, greenhouses, commercial cultivation facilities, and other controlled environments using supplemental CO₂.
A built-in LCD display continuously shows the current CO₂ concentration in ppm, allowing personnel to quickly check conditions directly in the monitored area. Its self-aspirated enclosure helps provide continuous air sampling, while its plug-and-play RJ12 connection simplifies integration into a Carbon-X installation.
CO₂ Monitoring from 0 to 30,000 ppm
The MBS-K30 is designed to measure CO₂ concentrations across a wide 0–30,000 ppm range.
This extended range is especially important in CO₂ safety applications because it allows the Carbon-X system to monitor both normal operating levels and potentially hazardous CO₂ concentrations.
When connected to Carbon-X, sensor readings can be used to trigger compatible system responses such as:

NDIR CO₂ Sensing Technology
The MBS-K30 uses NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) technology to monitor CO₂ concentrations.
NDIR sensing is widely used for continuous CO₂ measurement because it detects carbon dioxide directly through infrared absorption. This allows the MBS-K30 to provide continuous CO₂ readings to the Carbon-X controller for safety monitoring and alarm management.
Built-In LCD Display
The sensor includes a built-in LCD display that continuously shows the current CO₂ concentration in ppm.
This gives personnel a clear local reading without needing to access the main Carbon-X controller or mobile interface, making it easier to verify CO₂ conditions directly within the monitored room.
One or Two Sensors per Zone
Each room or zone monitored by the Carbon-X system can use one or two MBS-K30 CO₂ sensors.
Using two sensors in a monitored area can help facilities meet specific local code requirements or provide additional monitoring coverage where required.
The Carbon-X platform can monitor up to 13 zones or rooms, allowing the MBS-K30 to be incorporated into larger multi-room CO₂ safety installations.
Designed for Carbon-X Safety Systems
The MBS-K30 is specifically designed to work with the TrolMaster Carbon-X CO₂ Alarm System (CDA-1).
Carbon-X can use the sensor readings to monitor CO₂ levels continuously and initiate programmed responses if concentrations exceed selected alarm thresholds.

International Orders
Nearly all of our brands can be shipped internationally using FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL or other couriers. Most quotes can be obtained at checkout. If not, you can email us at info@canadagrowsupplies.com for some more information on shipment.
Items shipped internationally from the USA may have VAT, duties, taxes, and/or local charges due at delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and not Canada Grow Supplies Inc.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, we recommend reaching out to us ASAP. We charge a 2.9% (credit card), 3.5% (PayPal), 4.0% (PayPal International), 4.1% (American Express), or 6.5% (Shop Pay Installments or Sezzle) order cancellation fee after the order was received. We can accommodate most requests, but due to the different time zones and schedules that our warehouses ship from, sometimes the cancellation request may not reach the warehouse in time before the product ships. Once the item has been arranged to ship or has shipped, the package will be treated like a 'return' and is subject to ship-back fees and restocking fees. If you purchased 'Route Package Protection', this can not be refunded after the order has shipped.
Returns
