How do NUTRIENT A and NUTRIENT B work?

Nutrient A & B are made into two separate bottles – Nutrient A and Nutrient B, so the solutions can be provided in a concentrated form. Always use equal amounts of Nutrient A and Nutrient B as per our feeding chart, which can be found on our website.

- What are NUTRIENT A and NUTRIENT B, and how do they work?

- Why should I choose HYGROZYME® NUTRIENT A and NUTRIENT B?

- Why are NUTRIENT A and NUTRIENT B not provided in a single bottle?

Combining Nutrient A and Nutrient B into a single bottle would require a larger volume to dissolve the nutrients, essentially creating a ready-to-use solution.

- What is the shelf life of NUTRIENT A and NUTRIENT B?

The shelf life of Nutrient A and Nutrient B is three years from the date of manufacture, provided the products are stored properly. They should be kept in a cool, well-ventilated place away from sunlight and heat.

- What is EC?

EC stands for electrical conductivity. It indicates the amount of salts and nutrients dissolved in a solution and is typically measured in millisiemens per centimeter (mS/cm).

- What is the difference between EC and PPM? How are they related?

PPM stands for parts per million. Both EC and PPM measure the amount of dissolved salts in a solution and thus the nutrient levels available to plants; a higher EC corresponds to a higher PPM. One mS/cm EC is equivalent to 500 PPM when using the PPM 500 scale.

- How much NUTRIENT A and NUTRIENT B is required?

Please refer to the grow schedule on the feed calculator. Always dilute Nutrient A separately from Nutrient B before mixing them together.

- What about heavy metals in the products?

Nutrient A and Nutrient B are registered products, licensed for sale in certain US states and rigorously tested to meet the Association of American Plant Food Control Officials (AAPFCO) standards for heavy metal content. - What is the pH of NUTRIENT A and NUTRIENT B?

The pH of Nutrient A is 6.7, and the pH of Nutrient B is 4.5.

- Do I need to shake NUTRIENT A and NUTRIENT B before mixing them?

It is not necessary to shake the bottles before use.

- Can I mix products from different manufacturers?

Nutrient A and Nutrient B are generally compatible with other water-based products. To ensure compatibility, we recommend performing a jar test before making a large application.

- How long is the vegetative stage?

The average vegetative stage typically lasts between 3 to 5 weeks. This duration depends on the grower’s preference; a longer vegetative period will result in a larger plant, though it may not necessarily be better.

- How long is the flowering stage?

The flowering stage varies by strain and typically lasts between 8 to 11 weeks.

Order Confirmation

As soon as your order is placed, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address you used to place the order. This means we have received your order and payment. Payment is captured as soon as the order is placed. In rare cases, if the product is on backorder or unavailable, we will contact you and ask if you would like to wait for the product to become available, switch your product, or have your payment refunded. If the item is available for shipment we will submit the order for processing and arrange shipment. Please see current estimated lead times on the product page for each product.

Shipping

Most products ship within 1 to 3 business days. Some items might take longer as they are delivered from our warehouse in Vancouver. As soon as we receive your tracking number, we will send it over to you.

Free Shipping

Free shipping is available across all provinces throughout Canada for orders over 149$.

International Orders

Nearly all of our brands can be shipped internationally using FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL or other couriers. Most quotes can be obtained at checkout. If not, you can email us at info@canadagrowsupplies.com for some more information on shipment. Items shipped internationally from the USA may have VAT, duties, taxes, and/or local charges due at delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and not Canada Grow Supplies Inc.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, we recommend reaching out to us ASAP. We charge a 2.9% (credit card), 3.5% (PayPal), 4.0% (PayPal International), 4.1% (American Express), or 6.5% (Shop Pay Installments or Sezzle) order cancellation fee after the order was received. We can accommodate most requests, but due to the different time zones and schedules that our warehouses ship from, sometimes the cancellation request may not reach the warehouse in time before the product ships. Once the item has been arranged to ship or has shipped, the package will be treated like a 'return' and is subject to ship-back fees and restocking fees. If you purchased 'Route Package Protection', this can not be refunded after the order has shipped.

Returns

In order to make sure you are completely satisfied, we can send you a return label within 14 days of receiving the order. This is to guarantee that you are happy with the product. Some products might require a 10-25% restocking fee. Please visit our full return policy.
