The AutoPot FlexiPot 16 XL System Kit is an automatic gravity-fed irrigation system designed for larger grow rooms, greenhouses and professional cultivation environments. Combining AutoPot’s proven irrigation technology with 16 high-performance 5 gal (20 L) fabric FlexiPots, this system efficiently waters multiple plants automatically without electricity, water pumps, or timers.

Each plant has its own 1Pot XL tray, AQUAvalve5, and FlexiPot, so water or compatible nutrient solution is supplied automatically based on the water level in each tray.

You can configure the system with or without a reservoir. With a reservoir, the FlexiPot 16 XL uses a 225 L (approximately 59 gal) FlexiTank, providing a practical water supply for a 16-site, gravity-fed irrigation setup.

16 Individually Controlled Growing Sites

The AutoPot FlexiPot 16 XL System Kit provides 16 individual growing modules, each controlled by its own AQUAvalve5.

Rather than watering each plant on a fixed timer schedule, each AQUAvalve5 responds independently to the water level in its tray. Once a plant has used the available water, the valve allows the tray to refill before automatically shutting off the supply again.

This provides automatic irrigation with:

5 gal (20 L) Fabric FlexiPots

The system includes 16 x 5 gal (20 L) fabric FlexiPots designed specifically for use with AutoPot 1Pot XL trays.

The porous fabric construction allows greater gas exchange around the growing medium and root zone than conventional rigid containers.

As roots reach the FlexiPot's porous walls, exposure to air naturally discourages root tips from continuing outward. This process, commonly known as air pruning, encourages secondary root development while helping reduce excessive root circling.

The result is a dense, fibrous root structure that can efficiently access moisture and nutrients throughout the growing medium.

The FlexiPot 16 XL uses a larger main distribution pipe and smaller feeder tubing to deliver water efficiently throughout the system.

The irrigation network uses:

• Main irrigation pipe: 16 mm OD (approximately 5/8 in)
• Feeder tubing: 9 mm OD (approximately 3/8 in)
• 16 individual AQUAvalve5 units
• Tee and cross connectors to distribute water to individual modules
• Inline taps to isolate sections of the irrigation network

PotSock Round Root Control

Fit each FlexiPot with a PotSock Round at its base when used with an AutoPot irrigation system.

The PotSock helps prevent roots from growing out of the fabric container and entering the irrigation tray or AQUAvalve area. One PotSock Round is included for each of the 16 FlexiPots.

Proper root control helps maintain reliable AQUAvalve operation and simplifies routine system maintenance.

Flexible Growing Layout

Because the AutoPot XL trays operate as individual modules, growers are not restricted to one permanently fixed configuration.

Growers can reposition individual pots and trays as plants grow, creating extra spacing without rebuilding the entire irrigation network.

AutoPot lists an approximate floor space requirement of:

• 8.2 ft x 11.5 ft (2.5 m x 3.5 m)

This measurement excludes the reservoir and may vary according to the final arrangement of the growing modules.

Reusable and Low-Maintenance

AutoPot FlexiPots are designed for repeated use. After each crop, you can let the fabric pots dry, brush them to remove loose growing medium and fine roots, and then clean them before the next growing cycle.

Because the system operates through gravity and mechanical AQUAvalve5 control, no electrical irrigation controller, pump or timer is required during normal operation.

Regular inspection and cleaning of the reservoir, filter, tubing, trays and AQUAvalve5 units will help maintain reliable water flow throughout the complete 16-site installation.

Important Indoor Humidity Consideration

Fabric pots expose more growing-medium surface area to the surrounding air than rigid plastic containers. Using 16 FlexiPots indoors can increase humidity in the growing environment.

Adequate ventilation, air circulation, dehumidification and environmental monitoring are therefore recommended when operating multiple FlexiPots indoors.
