The AQUAvalve5 uses gravity pressure from a reservoir to automatically control the flow of water or nutrient solution into an AutoPot tray.
When the tray is empty, the AQUAvalve5 opens and allows solution to enter until the water reaches approximately 1 in / 20 mm deep.
The valve then closes completely.
Instead of immediately refilling the tray as soon as a small amount of water is consumed, the system allows the plants to use the available supply. Once the water level has been sufficiently depleted, the AQUAvalve5 opens again and begins another watering cycle.
