Filtres
As the name suggests, the filter uses activated carbon which gets rid of nasty odours in the air as it passes through the filter. What is keenly beneficial about carbon filters is that they not only clean up the odour in the air, but they also absorb toxins and other particles from the space and purify it.
A carbon filter in a grow tent or grow room is shaped cylindrically and inside of it contains activated charcoal. Air is drawn into the tube by a fan that filters the air and then lets it go without any of the initial odour or toxins. There are multiple sizes for filters, depending on your garden space you may choose accordingly.
Carbon that is activated is commonly referred to as charcoal, a sponge-like, and highly porous stone-like substance. This is particularly popular in beauty products for the skin and can be used in water purification as well. It is utilized for air cleaning around marijuana product as well as conventional air purification.
You may create your own activated carbon, or charcoal, by burning different types of fruit shells, wood, or say coconut. What occurs is the material is first put into an oven and then brought to 752 degrees Fahrenheit, then to a different temperature at 1472 degrees. Vapour treats the charcoal to help open up its’ pores. If you are not that hardcore and do not want to go down the DIY charcoal route, there are hard pellets of activated carbon also in powder form commercially available.
